Content Description
Content Summary: The Climate Prediction Center (CPC) daily (1200 - 1200 UTC) U.S. minimum surface air temperature analysis contains  ~5000 stations per day from the River Forecast Centers, including ~1500 stations from the Hydrologic Automated Data System, and  ~several hundred stations from the Climate Anomaly Data Base.

Analysis Scheme: Modified Cressman (1959) Scheme (Glahn et al. 1985; Charba et al. 1992). Minimum stations for analysis: 350 for temperature analysis. If the number of stations is less than the minimum, then the analysis is not performed for that day.
