There is a low to moderate tilt in the odds in favor of below average rainfall over western Sudan, including the Darfur region and in local areas over southeastern Sudan and western Ethiopia. Areas of low tilt in the odds to favor above average rainfall are confined to southwestern Sudan and west central Ethiopia. Climatology is expected, except elsewhere.
