The forecast calls for a low to moderate tilt in the odds favoring above average rains over northern Mozambique, Malawi, and eastern Zambia. There is a low to moderate tilt in the odds favoring below average rains over southern Mozambique, portions of northeastern South Africa, locally over the southern areas of Zimbabwe and Botswana, much of Namibia, and southern Angola. Climatology is expected elsewhere.
