Abstract Title: Drought Planning for Water Utilities: Indices, Triggers, and Response

Abstract: Municipal water providers develop, in some cases, sophisticated drought plans to ensure a reliable water supply to meet their customer base. To develop these plans, they need to consider a usable set of indices, triggers, and responses actions. In the face of climate uncertainty, climate change, and the notion of non-stationarity, what climate information and other information can be brought to bear to help develop these plans?
