Thin lines represent the observations during the last 40 days and the thick lines represent the forecasts for the last 15 days. MJO amplitude increases away from the unit circle and counter-clockwise movement indicates eastward propagation. RMM1 and RMM2 refer to the realtime MJO modes 1 and 2 respectively.
