Forecast Experiment Protocol

Basic forecast periods:

June – August, 2004 and July-September, 2004.

Domain of interest:

United States and Mexico with focus on

the NAME Tier 3 region.

Variable of interest:

Seasonal mean surface temperature and precipitation

anomalies.

Deadline of submission:

May 25, 2004 for June-August forecast and

June 25, 2004 for July- September forecast.

Method:

Both statistical and dynamical forecasts are welcome

All participants are asked to fill out following questionnaire.
