  • 50-Year Precipitation Reconstruction - A data set of global monthly precipitation is being constructed on a 2.5 degree latitude/longitude grid for a 50-year period from 1950 to the present.

  • Zenith Angle IR Correction - A "zenith angle" effect results in the erroneous inference of IR brightness temperatures at pixels that are at relatively high viewing angles relative to nadir and are inferred to be considerably colder than they are in reality.
