Abstract

GRIB is the WMO standard format for the gridded data such as meteorological forecasts and analyses. This seminar starts with the differences between grib version 1 and version 2. Then I will cover making GrADS control files, moving scripts from wgrib to wgrib2, exporting grib data, making averages, regridding, and converting binary data into grib.
