About the Data:
The Climate Prediction Center daily (1200 - 1200 UTC) snow reports are from over 1,500 stations across the US, including Alaska in near real time (within 12 hours). The data include multiple sources across the US: "First order" World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Global Telecommunications System (GTS) sites; NWS Cooperative Observer Network (COOP) via River Forecast Centers (RFC) and Weather Forecast Offices (WFO).
