Tropical Pacific Drifting Buoys

APRIL 2023

During April 2023, 170 satellite-tracked surface drifting buoys were reporting from the tropical Pacific. A total of 85 satellite-tracked surface drifting buoys contain subsurface drogues, which are attached for measuring mixed layer currents within the region.
