Tropical Pacific Drifting Buoys

AUGUST 2021

In August 2021, 159 drifters sampled the tropical Pacific. The drifters did not reveal currents that were significantly anomalous from August climatology at broad scales, although coverage was low in the near-equatorial band across much of the basin.
